Please advise as to what? What you are doing is very cool. Nice
Please advise as to what? What you are doing is very cool. Nice gliding legato's. Thankfully not heavy metal, thank you very much. Nice. It's great playing with yourself! Any old way ya do it. ...??? I don't think that came out quite right? Either way it's still fun. (I don't like it when my batteries die)
Live layering? You mean overdubbing. Which is what you are doing, playing against your track. Nothing new about that. Just ask Les Paul. Of course ya can't. He's dead. However, folks like Todd Rundgren, was booed off the stage, when he played against his 16 track, 2 inch machine. But that was back in the mid/late 1970s. Kind of common practice today with samples, MIDI. Which everybody thinks is cool today. So you likely won't have to go through what Todd went through. I felt bad for him when that happened as I thought what he was doing was super cool back in the 70s. I guess he and I were just too ahead of the times? 20 years later, it was Sting on stage, playing against a New England Digital, Synclavier. Amazing everyone! Mid-1980s, $150,000 for that gizmo. I almost bought one.. Glad I didn't. They were obsolete in just a very few years. For Sting? Just a write off. For everyone else? There's MasterCard.
I don't got no... satisfaction.
