I have to choose between the version with and without harddisk. Obviously the one with harddisk is far more convenient. But since this unit will be sitting right next to me I would like to know 2 things before choosing it:
1. Does the harddisk spin down and become completely silent when not in use?
2. When in use or when idle, does it make "a lot of noise" (harddisk in my powerbook G4 is too much)?
