Hey whats up, I'm looking to replace the shockmount for my AKG C314 mic but don't to pay the $99 it's listed for. I see that there are other knock off shock mounts on Amazon and eBay but it doesn't look like any of them will fit the AKG.
Anyone?

dude, so sorry, my food came to the door and i forgot to post the link. the only potential issue i see w the one you got is if the 314 capsule doesn't rest above the spider mount part. this is the style i used, not saying its better, just for information value if nothing else.

im not sure if this is the exact one, but we used this type at the studio as a replacement for the 414's. at the studio the mics are setup almost perpetually in the reverb chamber, so these mounts worked well. for something that's constantly being setup and adjusted, id look into something better. i disgusted with the akg shockmounts, lol i broke mine the first day i used my 414.
