Except as to the power supply, are all the channels component discrete?
Yes ,, all Sebatron VMP series ( and THORAX ) are COMPLETELY DISCRETE CLASS A circuits.
There are NO Chips or Intergrated circuits.
What your impressions are of running Rode NTK and Rode NT2-A mics through the unit?
I get good reports all the time with these mics through the Sebs.
Both mics put out quite a decent signal so you would probably be operating with at least the -15db or -30db Pad on.
I suggest utilizing the H.P.F on the N2A at 80Hz to keep rumble and mud to a minimum.
The NTK will sound especially sweet and open with the 'Air' switch activated.
