Noodles = Nuendo as deemed by Jules.
I've been using it for surround mixing. It's actually quite nice with the UA PPI card. I don't mix entirely inside of it though. I use the digi or analog console dejour for ease of interface with preferred processors (API 2500, TC 6000, etc.) and the improved summing.

Does Nintoodle-oo have a 32 bit record mode? I've heard repeatedly that the audio engine is the same as Cubase. I have noticed the 32 bit record mode in Cubase to sound a lot more like 24 bit DA78 (same converters, RME) than the 24 bit record mode, which sounds rather blurry around the edges. Truncation?

For me it's 'all bets off' untill OSX but you can be sure I will be keeping my eyes WIDE OPEN.
I went to a recent small trade fare in the UK, they might just as well have hung a sign up in the hall saying "don't buy anything, it's all changing soon" it was a weird atmosphere..
Missing from Noodles for me is -
1) A serious control surface for "all in one operation" - (like the ProControl I own)
2) Sony plug ins, but the TC PowerCore may soon remedy that.
I dig an all in one system, no seperate software for the desk, midi, audio...
Lets see what happens.... it's a very interesting time now...
