I was just curious as to what the difference is between the Antares Autotune rack version versus the autotune plugin . are there any differences in the amount of control available with each? what about the overall sonic quality of each. does one sound or function better?

the rack version works purely in Auto mode, I believe, which cor

The software version is thus much more useful because it has the Graphical mode, which lets you draw in the pitches you want. Auto mode isn't even really useful in a studio setting.
