Hey...just wondering. I have just gotten into this convolution reverb stuff
...what do you guys think about Convolution Reverb vs something like Waves TrueVerb or the renesaince reverberator? Which reverb plugin do you guys prefer? (For vocals)
SpiritualRobot, I think convolution reverb is a cool idea? I have monkeyed around with it but not much. The thought of taking an impulse recording of a hall and then trying to have a electronic approximation of it regenerated automatically by a crappy computer, is kind of cool and still kind of electronic. Throughout the years that I've used electronic reverbs and software reverb's, I have generally been able to dial-up the sound of a space that I wish to create and/or even trying to match/reproduce another space or for "mix maintenance", I've been able to do it without getting all convoluted over it!
Wasting time getting lost at the bottom of the can.
