And your reason for posting your Ego is, what?
Are ya into freeform observations? I am.

It kind of sounds like Tears for Fears meets Frankie goes to Hollywood? Now conceptually, it's rather charming sounding. Rather easy to listen to... except for the vocalist. Are ya kidding me? I don't exactly believe in auto-tune but in this case? Ya need it. What is with the vocals? Was this guy asleep when he was singing it or trying to? It really made me jump up... as I needed to go to the bathroom. So what can I tell ya? Just take the vocal off and it'll be fine. Or maybe recut the vocals and try a little harder? I would turn this off at the intermission at the drive-in theater.

Really the singer ruined it for me. He can neither be understood or sing in tune. I'm supposed to like that? I suppose some will? He's rather thick tongued. Then he doesn't lock in with his double. The vocal takes away from the rest of your rather reasonable sounding recording. But that's a performance issue not a technical issue.

Well yeah.it's also technical. Because you could use autotune and beat matching on your vocals. You wouldn't need either of those if ya learn how to perform it better.

In short, I found the recording of the vocals very sloppy. Rather muddy. Mostly lifeless. I know it's the end of the world but... play something nicer if we're all going to die.

It needs more cowbell.

Don:
"Advise - Song Critique Forum/ Music Collaboration. Ask professional recording engineers and the general music community what we think about a song, your mix and gear to use to improve your recordings."
That's the forum tag.
What I implicitly do while posting my songs here is exactly "Ask professional recording engineers and the general music community what we think about a song, your mix and gear to use to improve your recordings".
And that's why Mx. Remy Ann David (which I really thank) perfectly and super-motivatedly exposed his thoughts about it.
So, please, bear with me. I just want to get better at what I like to do.

RemyRAD:
I totally appreciate your thoughts, and honestly I totally agree with you! :)
Really, I am not a singer, and this song is just an amusing/scaring test. But.... who knows.... maybe next time it will be better. I know I can do better! :)

Love to all,

Except that you didn't narrate any of those things above in your post - you just posted the song, with no other description whatsoever.

Look, I don't care that you post. No one does, as long as you're not simply trying to up your view or listen count on a Soundcloud, Youtube or other account. And, when you post a song without explaining why it is you are posting, then we can only assume that you are trying to do just that.

From now on, please provide an explanation as to what exactly you are seeking - a mix critique, performance suggestions, or specifics questions related to what you've posted.

Thank You.
