Anyone know anything about this?

I'm guessing it's on the same theme as the Liquid Channel, which I've heard varying reviews about. Has anyone used or heard anything on this product?

I really don't think that it's all that expensive if it does what it says, considering most plugin bundles are a grand or more.

Its a pretty cool bundle, I like the real time controls the most. The devices in it are pretty accurate. I had one for about a week but traded it in for a UAD1 card after the UA rep an winter namm made a bit more sence. He said the liquid mix emulates alot of the devices UA made, that the UAD1 has to offer. If UA made it, why would Focusrites emulation be any better than UA's emulation? so i traded it. Its not a bad bundle tho by any means.

UPDATE

Man so many firewire issues!

I have no other firewire devices too.
I can not get the Liquid Mix to run on my PC,
I have tried three different firewire cards now, and installed a XP SP2 update, fixed my firewire speed in windows. Changed Buffer sizes in Nuendo and the Liquid Mix. Nada, it still will not connect!

Rather anoyed at this point, I think I will be getting rid of the liquid mix.

Didn't they recently release it for PC compatibility? Sounds like they need to do a bit more R&D for it.

The one I used on a Mac was fairly good. My first impression was that it was alright. In all fairness, I haven't gotten a chance to try out everything it has to offer, so I'll give it a go this weekend.

My first thought is you have more options with UAD (different types of compressors, EQ and time based effects), and their credit vouchers are pretty damn cool.

I'll let you know what I find out!

I am looking at the UAD card, but honestly I only need decent compressors, EQ sure why not. But reverbs and delay effects are not required.

Good - because the reverbs and delays in the UAD-1 suck!

The compressors and EQs are friggin awesome though!

Get the Pultec Pro! It's worth the money and then some. The Precision EQ is nice too.

I've been playing with the Neve stuff and have REALLY been enjoying that too. I just have to decide if I want to pony up the $$$ for that.

Because I can't get a decent sound out of any of them despite hours of trying.

I'll stick with my SIR freeware version with my Lexicon 960 Impulses and hall impulses.

The biggest thing is the controls aren't as accurate as I'd hoped. I can hear a big difference between early reflections of 35 and 50 ms and I just don't hear it on the UAD.

Don't get me wrong- I LOVE the UAD-1 - just not for verbs.
