Part takes me back to; The Cars, KISS during the first section
Part takes me back to; The Cars, KISS during the first section of the verse, B-52's second section of the verse and April Wine during the guitar lead. That bass and drum groove is sweet. Catchy. The more I listen to it the more I liked it. Some three part harmony built up before the guitar solo and towards the end would be a nice touch. Just a thought, a reintroduction of the intro could be kool may be right before the guitar lead at 1:56.
