Great sound, mix and production. I especially appreciate how you keep the musicianship in focus with the video production. I get so tired of music videos that don't show the musicians playing.

Thanks as always for explaining a bit about the gear you use as well. Wish more people did this when they post music videos.

Thanks for the comments AK! With regard to the video, I don't see it as a "music video". Being an audio engineer, producer and camera operator, I don't have enough hands to manually film each instrument. I place the cameras before the sessions and hit record. It's a cheap man's music video but I think it's a bit more interesting than just listening to the audio.

The Kemper has been a revelation regarding recording guitars. I profiled my own rig about two years ago and have never miced my amps again!

Really glad to see some of your productions on here again. As always, amazing all round composition, playing and recording, from all of you. Great tone out of the Traditional. Looks exactly like mine! What year is it (mine's a 2015)? Do you prefer it to the Tokai?

Mine is a 1995. I wouldn't say that I prefer it over the Tokai but there is a bit more grunt in the pick ups with the Gibson. The Tokai pick ups are fairly low output which work for some applications where the Gibson works for others. There's not much in it.

Absolutely not! I've never owned a guitar with active pick ups. 

The Kemper sounds great on my Les Pauls, Strat and Tele.

It's the best thing I've used for recording guitars. I profiled my own rig when I got it and I can't tell the difference between the miced amp or the direct profile of the same amp.
