Hi there. I'm just wondering what specs are most important when I'm only looking to record track. No plugin etc...

I'm running Pro Tools and a 002r with a Octo Pre and at current my 1.8gHz Celeron Laptop just does the job but it hiccups now and again.
I am using an external HD through firewire 400.

I just need the laptop to be able to handle a good few tracks of just the audio no plugin etc.

I'd appreciate anyone help as I'm a little unclear to the important parts of the latop that determine what it can handle..
