I just got back from Nashville and was able to work a little in Pro Tools. I am a Cubase guy myself so I am trying to figure out how they did something in Pro Tools.
We were fixing a few pitchy areas on the vox with Antares Autotune. They set the original Voice track to a bus out, then created a new track with the bus in being the other tracks bus out and recorded the new track while playing back the old track with autotune. Then they just bounced the corrected vocal back to the original track and shut down Autotune. Hopefully you know what I am talking about. How do I do that in SX. I tried it last night and couldn't figure it out. Set up the vocal track to a new bus but couldn't get the new audio track to record the original track.
Please help me out as I am completely confused. Thanks in advance.

Here's what you do. slice the portion of audio that you want to tune, right click on it and select Plug-ins -> autotune. Preview the audio, tune, and hit process. Make sure you select "make new file" or it will destructivly edit the real audio.
NO buses, extra tracks, sending, bouncing, recording back... nothing. It's all done right there.
