yeah, chinese workers are very cheap. U're right, behringer manufacturates in China. My close is also made in China. But have you looked at the labels in lots and lots of audio stuff?? Maybe it was 2000$, but it was also made in China. Everybody nowadays wants to look for cheap staff, so dont blame behringer, almost everybody does something in China, and it's not a crime. At least a little opportunitty for people who would have nothing, maybe, without these companies. At least U can participate in movements to try force these companies to treat better their workers
SeeU guys!
PD: my climbing 400$ North face jacket was also made in thailand!

You may have misunderstood my post.
I'm totally happy that Behringer is using Chinese laborers to build its products.
Personally, I think that the Chinses are excellent craftsmen, and I believe it shows in the products they make.
I own several Behringer products, and I couldn't be more pleased with their excellent value.
My post wasn't ment to stigmatize Chinese workers by implying that all they are good for is building cheaply-priced goods.
On the contrary, I think they produce work worth much much more than they are getting paid for, and it would not suprise me in the least that some things they create are selling for big money.

You get a product assembled by Chinese workers...probably the cheapest labor-force in the world.
How much it sells for on the open market is not the bottom-line in determining its quality...not if everything in it is manufactured using the cheapest labor-force in the world.
