I am overseeing the purchase of a new PT MIXPlus rig with a G4(?) for a new studio. The questions I have are:

1. Is the G4 733 with SuperDrive worth the doubling in price?
2. Is anyone having any luck with dual AGP cards other than the Jeronimom?3. Is anyone having any luck with SCSI drives other than Digi or Cheetahs, et cetera? (i.e. Digi-approved drives)
4. Along that same line, how about other SCSI accelerators that don't cost $550 with cables?
5. What are you folks using for backup storage? What about the SuperDrive?
6. Where are the best places (prices) to get the G4?

Any helpful info is appreciated.
