hello !
Im totally new to midi and I have a little dilemma I have a bass drum track recorded from a live session as a .wav which is spot on for timing, but sound-wise its not great.
Im wondering if there is any way to convert this sound file to some kind of midi file so that i can send it to my Roland Juno-D Keyboard and trigger one of the bass drum sounds on there, so essentially I could record a bass drum track from my Juno-D
And if this is possible, how do I do it ?
I use Cool Edit Pro 2
Soundcard is a Tascam US-122
Also have Digital Ear (wav to midi converter)
any advice would be massively appreciated
and sorry in advance if this is a dumb question
thanks

If this is something you will be doing more than once you should consider buying [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.drumagog…"]Drumagog[/]="http://www.drumagog…"]Drumagog[/]. At $149 it's a bit pricey if you're not planning on making a habit out of retriggering tracks but it's very convenient to have around.
