Max, he means the Stereophonic Recording Angle, that is the angle defining the extremities of incoming sound sources such that those sources will exatclt fit between the speakers during thw channel playback in the traditional configuration.

I think its 90 degrees, if you position your loudspeakers at 90 degrees as well. I have tried this and its spectacular with a pure Blumlein recording. Hopeless for most other recordings though.
