Just curious what kind of results people are getting from using newer DVD burners to burn Red Book CDs.
Where I'm coming from is: the system I'm putting together will definitely have a DVD burner for archiving purposes. Do I still need to add a low-jitter CD burner like PLEXTOR or Yamaha or will the newer DVD-RAM burners do this task just fine?

My Pioneer DVR A04 works great for me burning CD's in Wavelab...haven't had a problem yet..you might want to burn them at a slower speed to make sure it's done right but otherwise they're A OK by my standards!
