is the Lexicon MX-200 a great reverb effect for vocals because i'm going to buy one for $150 so i need some advice on does it produce a great reverb effect to vocals..and i am also using it with my Mackie 24.8 analog mixer.

Actually, those are two separate machines. MPX200 has been discontinued, though you can still find them around. The MX200 is a newer unit. One of its claims to fame is its ability to be run as a VST plugin (to clarify, the plugin controls the hardware).
Overall, its sound is mediocre. Pretty good for the price, but not going to knock your socks off.

Will it do what you need? If you consider your Mackie mixer to be "great", you will likely think the same of the Lexicon. And, if you're gong to buy one anyway, what are you asking us now for? You'll soon know, all by yourself.
