This company, equation audio, broke off of the company CAD and started making similar budget mics. I looked into their alpha package and it seems really reliable. Does anyone have any reviews on these mics?

Im thinking of getting the 7-piece drum mic alpha package to start me off and then maybe getting an sm57 and another condenser to add onto that. I wanna know if the equation audios are reliable.

If not, what would you recommend as a mic package around the $300 range that would be good for starting me off?

NOTE: Im also looking into using these as a double usage - like Micing a bass amp with the kick mic or something like that.

Broke off or fell off? Really reliable? And they've been in business for six months or more? So they are guaranteed to work at least six months? You get seven microphones in a bag for $9.99? A brown paper bag so nobody knows they are dirty microphones. Dirty sounding that is. Nobody has ever heard of them because they haven't been around for 60 years.

$300? Multipurpose? Drums? Only one answer.

Three Shure SM58's. Metal ball too big? Like Oreo cookie. You unscrew it. Drums pop the right way. So no problems. Available for 100 bucks US at your local Guitar Box stores.

Now that equates to good sense
