Hi

I have a Focusrite Saffire and I'm thinking of getting an Acer laptop (Acer Aspire 9800 series).

I was cautioned by someone that Acers sometimes have problems with firewire audio interfaces. Has anyone dad any experience of this compatability issue?

Also, if problems do occur, is it a matter of tweaking things till they are right -- or is it the case that with some laptops it's simply impossible to get them to work right with certain firewire soundcards no matter how expertly they are tweaked?
