I am trying to figure out how to resolve the severe latency while running Guitar Rig as a stand alone app. - I have an M Audio 1010 sound card and changing the latency settings on its control panel does not change the delay in Guitar Rig when I am monitoring my guitar playing. I tried adjusting the latency settings in Guitar Rig properties but except for a thumping noise, still had a severe delay to sound I was hearing when playing.

Anybody have any experience with this?

I am running the demo (for 4 more days, that is).

It changed the driver selection when I installed it.
Make sure you are running the ASIO driver. At least I think thats the one. I have the Delta 44, and changing the drivers makes HUGE changes to the latency. I run 8ms now, and thats just fine for me. I guess I could go less, but I notice no problems with it.

I use Guitar Rig as my live...err, guitar rig. I have an M-Audio USB Audiophile and latency with the ASIO driver is about 3 ms. Definitely you will want to make sure you are using the ASIO driver, with the latency lowered as much as possible before it begins to drop out.

The 1010 should have no issues with this, but what do you mean by "monitoring"? You have headphones plugged into the console, or the DAW that has the Delta PCI card?
