i have a delta 1010lt soundcard, a 12 channel Behringer mixer (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=rec/search/detail/base_pid/631236/) are the preamps good enough? the drum will be all triggered with drumagog (delta 1010lt soundcard) so i thought i would use the mixer for overheads only (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=rec/search/detail/base_pid/273156/). I'm i better off with my Tascam 4 track recorder preamps?

and Micing un my marshall jcm2000 and crate blue voodoo.. will i get descend results with the mics mentionned earlier? (mxl 990 and 991) i have no phasing problem but the little tries i did last day sounded so unprofessionnel with one mic or two.. even if two was better..

any hints at getting a LOUD PROFESSIONNAL DEATH METAL GUITAR TONE would definitely be appreciated as hell (even if i know I'm about the 1000 one to ask this!)

(ex:the jcm2000, better off distorted as hell or loud as hell? big bass big mids and lo trebles or invert. i kinda have difficulties figuring out what is the tone I'm looking for that will sound as hell..)
