Are these channel strips with EQ good if you racked up a pair?
Are they much the same as Sytek or would they be better?
Is the EQ decent in them?
And one last question.
I have heard someone put the Neotek in the same league as Millennia.
I realize that they are both transformerless and fast but is this some hyped up bull or are they really good?

I don't know about the racked strips from a Series-1 desk, but I dearly love the sound of the Series-1 Neotek mic pre and the eq is also very good. And, yes they ought sound much better than the Sytek stuff. I own a dual channel version of the Neotek MicMAX preamps (there one and only rack mount unit) that was the best they ever came up with without the restrictions of having to be inside or fit into a console. I would easily say my Neotek is as good or better than those made by Grace, Millennia, John Hardy, GR MP or Earthworks mic pre's.
