It's that time of year again. Cold snap in the mountains of SW Virginia and NO moisture in the air. I keep room humidifiers running all winter so that my frets don't start popping and instruments start falling apart. I don't like piano humidifiers or guitar case humidifiers. I prefer to keep the whole room moist rather than put the moisture close to one part of the instrument.
I'd really like to get a few more room humidifiers, but Honeywell doesn't make my favorites anymore. So I'm looking for something new, and the reviews are all pretty bad. Anyone have recommendations? What are all you guys in the great white north doing about humidity control?
