i've been a huge fan of the Blues and Jazz music..
however, growing up in a typical Asian family, all i had to listen to was pop ballads and rock tunes...
i'm trying to learn the art of singing the Blues and Jazz so that i can cover some awesome songs that i love
Can you guys give me some suggestions about websites that provide tutorials to singing Blues and Jazz? in particular scat singing and growling.
Even youtubers that you think can help me improve my audio performance will do too!

also, by a tight verb u mean a short pre-delayed reverb? and by high q eq do u mean like cutting out above a certain frequency, for example 150khz?

well, first ya prop shouldn't post the same link at the same time, i heard this on the home recording forum.. Mic technique, i notice ya working it, but the natural tendencies to get close when soft are audible like lip smacks. Breathing is how good vocalist get it done. you; probably wanna start standing up. i'm no expert vocalist/coach, but i can hear when performers are out of breath, pitch correction/auto cannot fix this. a cool practice tip i heard was to put a finger under your sternum, against your diaphram while singing, it helps give a physical reference to where your air is generating.
as far as eq it sounds pretty 'natural, or live'. i'd just throw some basic delays, and maybe a tight verb. all very subtle. i'd use high Q eq to get rid of some of the unpleasant room rings.
