Im taking an audio production class and they want us to get a firewire external hard drive with a Oxford 911 Chipset.

Right now however i have a Maxtor 250gig SATA internal hdd and a Western Digital 120 ATA internal hdd. So I dont need to spend a lot of money on buying an external when i can just buy a case.

However what is a Oxford 911 chipset, and what is the importance of a chipset? I'm looking on newegg for some external cases...

any help anyone?
