Can any one describe the way they A/B
a mix on different sets of non powered monitors. I am currently using a speaker switcher connected to a single power amp.This works but I'm wondering if there is a better way?
Active switching can allow for trimming of levels of each system to suit and some can allow for 5.1 through to stereo and mono and mix speakers from one format to the other. very expensive.
The purists would say anything between my summing junction and my monitoring - Sucks!
Some desks have a monitor switching section.
I use a combination of the desk and a passive speaker switch.
