I'm thinking about picking up the M-Audio FireWire 310 for my mac.
Just wanted to see if anyone knew what software would work best for recording and mixing. I need something that allows me to record an instrument on one track and voice on a separate track, all at the same time, but I want to mix each one individually.

Also, anybody hear anything negative about the M-audio 310? It fits my price range but I'd like to know if there's something better for my money or what to expect when I get it.

Any thoughts?
