I've been trying to get my audiophile working properly on my Anus Mk1 all day and the best I can get is 11ms, and it's still not 100% stable...I've tried loads of diff IRQs and settings and both win2k and XP and still can't get it stable below 11ms. Surely with a P4 1.8 @ 2.4 and 512MB cas 2-2-2 ram I should be able to run it at it's lowest latency? Every time I'm running some VSTIs and a few plugins and then press stop the CPU meter jumps right up and there is a gap in the playback. My old Via setup ran the card better! I thought the pentium way was the bollocks but now I'm not so sure...As there are loads of Anus users here, surely some of you have got audiophiles too, what sort of latency can you get? Any advice on settings that may be flawing me? I've tried all the usual stuff and looked on the net for advice, but nothing seems to make it run like I know it should! I've reinstalled OS twice and don't have anything in the machine apart from Audiophile and Geforce 4 ti4200. I've tinkered with many BIOS settings but none seem to make a difference...

Help me! Please! :(

My Setup:

P4 Northwood 1.8a @ 2.2-2.4
512MB Mushkin cas2-2-2 DDR
Audiophile 24-96
Geforce Ti4200
350w PSU
Cubase VST 5.1r1

Plus loads of other stuff that isn't installed yet!

What motherboard? The Asus P4B266? If so what version as well...there's a C and another one too...
How many drives and what type of drives? How are they configured? DMA mode? Did you install the Intel Application Accelerator? I don't reccomend installing that...
I'm not using an audiophile but I'm able to get 3-6ms no problem...
Any way to test another video card? See if it's that? I've seen video cards do things like that...
also try and reset the BIOS to default settings as well.
Let us know

What about the dividers? By default, at FSB=133 MHz your PCI frequency is set to 1/3 (that is 44.3 MHz) rather than the standard 33 MHz and Audiophile may not like that. I don't know if your mobo supports 1/4 divider for PCI. If not, try to go back to 1.8 MHz and see if it works.
Furthermore, what version of Delta drivers you're using?
