Does anyone know if my peavey pv20 usb mixer will be compatible with logic and allow it to split all the channels into logic sepratly because at the moment it only goes all into 1
Unfortunately most USB mixers only allow for 2 tracks of simultaneous recording. It's not like their FireWire cousins that allow for 8 through 24 track simultaneous recording. But if you are like myself? I have made years worth of live to 2 track recordings from up to 40 simultaneous inputs, complete with individualized compressors, limiters, outboard equalizers, all sorts of stuff. That's not possible from your mama's mixer nor the one that you possess. But you could still, in a minimalist way, make some lovely recordings. It's all in the balance & the microphones you choose and where you place them.
