  • Hey guys,

Was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for any decent audio interfaces that can also properly drive my AKG K 240 headphones (impedance 55 ohms), I'm using a laptop with pretty good specs for EDM production. Budget < $200.

Also, I only use soft synths so don't need many MIDI inputs, just mainly a headphone out to plugin my headphones!

    My criteria are:

1.) To have a built-in headphone amp, that can adequately drive the AKG K 240's specifically.
2.) Good USB interface (USB 2.0), and most suited for my DAW (FL Studio).
3.) Which one has better sound drivers/driver support and updates, as I am looking to use it the audio interface frequently for online desktop streaming while I produce. My onboard sound card's driver can't take the load of my projects, since I currently use the asio4all driver but unfortunately asio4all isn't supported in the streaming software. So I need something with its own dedicated/native asio driver with the card that could have multiple output functionality OR a dedicated/native sound driver that comes with the card that can support heavy FL Studio projects, so I can stream my production online real-time at the same time I produce.

    My options (so far):

    M-Audio MobilePre MKII
    Focusrite Saffire 2i2
    Focusrite Saffire 6 USB
    PreSonus AudioBox USB
    Tascam US-200
    Tascam US-600
    Tascam 144 MKII

Would really appreciate any help you guys give. Thanks!
