8-) I haven't use it yet, but i 'v3e used the PRESONUS DIGIMAX, with exelent results. It is warm yet clean, good for drums, guitars, etc. I also saw its inside electronics and looks very professional.
The Eureka seems to be even better (it uses output transformer) like the clasic solid state preamps.
Some people talk about the presonus pre's as a "cheap"option
I don't think so, I use API's 500 series, neve modules, etc and i can tell you that those Presonus units sound just right.

Cool, anyone else

The Eureka is a nice unit for the price...the EQ is adequate...the mic pre is clean and clear though rather bland...the compressor is quite good ....They have 'iron' in the path as well as socketed IC's so if you want to upgrade to a Burr-Brown or something else along these lines its ready for the swap.All-in-all, a decent box.

We did a test with it...Guys seemed to like it okay...Didn't beat out the bigger boys but it held it's own and beat out some cheaper units and one bigger unit.

I found it more open on the top stock then my M80 which has burr-browns in it.
