7 Criteria for selecting your personal manager! If someone is going to work to achieve a successful career for you, you had better know what to look for.

Here's a list of some criteria.

• 1) Does he/she believe in your talent?
• 2) Is there a shared long-term vision between you and the manager?
• 3) How well is he/she organized?
• 4) Does he/she have strong industry contacts?
• 5) If he/she doesn't have expertise in something, do they find someone who does have the expertise?
• 6) Is he/she an effective communicator?
• 7) Most importantly, is he/she honest and does their reputation back that up?
