This is a rather mundane topic for my first post, but important to me nonetheless.

It seems all of my shock mount elastics have very short shelf lives before they become too stretched out (elastic) or disintegrate (rubber). So far RODE and Shure are my main culprits.

Does any body know ...
1) Any tricky workarounds for this problem? or
2) Source (besides mfr.) for replacments
