Hello!

I might get my hands on a new TLA Audio Fat-1, now discontinued, for bout 350USD (prices in india are usually a a lot higher that the western counter)

I was wondering if it would make for a useful frontend for tracking guitars and bass, and also it purpose as a stereo compressor.

I do not own any quality outboard gear.
