Why hasn't a company come out with a DAW that IS the OS?
Wouldn't that be fantastic?
I use my computer for one thing and one thing only... Make awesome music. No net, email or anything else.
It bugs me that there is so much extra unused stuff on the thing that is just taking up space.
Shouldn't be that hard to do.
Sure, optimise Windows for music... Been doing it since Win95. Win 10 seems to be doing great. Better than 7 for sure. Been a HAPPY Studio One user on PC for over 2 years now.
But it could be so much better.

They don't explain much about the actual OS (at least that I saw). I've built lots of computers, and that thing wouldn't be hard to build...to construct I mean.
But it's all those small details involving the OS where they get you. Mac has been doing it for years lol. Price aside, it seems pretty awesome. And for a lot of people, price doesn't matter. I wish I had the money to buy one and open it up/mess with it.
When they are saying it runs PT natively, and all the others it says it runs natively, does it come with those installed? I'm not quite sure what they mean by natively otherwise...
