I recently recorded a nice vintage Gretsch drum kit from the early 70s for a cover of an old jazz standard. The sound we were after was 'vintage' to match the era of the piece. I used a minimal Micing technique, and we were quite pleased with the result. So I wrote it up with some photos and audio - thought some people here might find it interesting.
