I am looking to buy a good used 2-bus EQ. That I can use coming out of the DAW and before going into wavelab. I am looking to spend aorund $1500 Any recommendations. I am using a Peavy VCL-2 for my compressor--for now.

I would look into the speck eqs they are decent for the money. Also you might look at some of the orban used eqs. They were decent in the 80s and definitely would do the trick. Also the AudioArts eqs are pretty decent. I have one for when my GML and my Manley Pultecs are not enough.
Also I would look at maybe a different compressor for mastering. The Peavey is a solid unit on individual instruments but as a mastering compressor have not heard of any one using it. Look into something that gives you more control of the comp.
