Has anyone seen or heard about the new RODE mics that are coming out soon, the K2 and the NT2000? I have not heard anything about release dates as of yet, but they sure sound like they will be sweet! Nothing on their web site as of yet, just a small blurb in EQ magazine...

The K2 is their new tube mic, built on NTK technology, but has less noise, and a continuously variable polar pattern.

The NT2000 is a new LD condensor with a continuously variable polar pattern, a continuously variable pad, and a continuously variable high-pass filter, all with less than 10dB self noise.

Anyone know anything more than this?

Maybe we can get Kurt to do a review, and then maybe we can convince him to not be such a RODE basher! lol!

has anybody compared the NTK versus the Studio Projects TB1? today i bought my Studio Projects VTB-1 from a dealer in northern kentucky and i asked him which tube mic he prefers: the NTK or the TB!. he said to go with the TB1 mic over the NTK. he sells both and probably makes more money off of the NTK. what about the Studio Projects C1 vesus the Rode NT2? thoughts?
