Sorry if this is not the best place to post this one, but it seemed the most relavent.

I have a budget mic, which uses a mono (unbalanced) jack connector.

It's a PZM mic with a battery compartment.

I want to cut that off and put on an XLR so I can use it with my mic preamp. Does anyone have a wiring diagram, so I can convert it to XLR and use Phantom power? I have heard of this being done before.
