Any ideas as to when it will be ready?

Still a couple of months at least.
I have ENOS the Solid State E.Q to fully complete first.
It's coming along nicely...

And do you want anyone to do any beta-testing?
(I'm only about 90 mins drive from Melbourne)

Sure. The prototypes are still a while off yet but you may get a chance to sample the E.Q.

What will the input gain settings be? 0, +8, +20 or something?

Possibly. It depends on the configuration of the input stage.
It has to be built and tweaked like a musical instrument before it gets tagged.

What about a valve model?

It may be followed up with a valve unit.
I have a nice parametric valve unit in mind before that though.

I'm interested in the link percentage thing, is this used to intentionaly create a lag between channels?

No it's whether compression comes down from the top or the sides...
You see you can get detection from either or both channels or a mix of the two...

Linking channels seems to have a wide definition...
Some manufacturers have units that ADD the channels.
Others ( usually VCA units ) have channel A as the master.

We're aiming to get channel A as the master ( linked threshold , ratio , attatck ,release ) with variable ' blending ' for the compression detection circuit ... blend 0 - 100 % .
Compression from the sides ( 0 % linked ) or the top ( 100 % linked ).
