I got a 3500 dollar cellphone bill a couple of monthes ago.......they credited it, but only 3200 dollars.........uh....hello.....what about the other 300?......keep in mind its not the poor sap who answers the phones fault..........unless you scream at them.....then they have WAY too much power.

Sorry to hear about your distress.

I've heard that they have alot of problems with there billing system. Some people were billed long distance charges for local calls, etc...

They don't actually own any cell towers or equipment. They just lease space and screw up everyone's billing.

See if you can get them to give you some free stuff. It works for me. Make sure you e-mail Bernie Ebbers (the ceo of worldcom) and let him know wassup!!!

So was Charlie Brown a pirate? Peg-leg Linus?

Some big companies have been around so long that Sovtek wants to clone the tubes in their computers.

The one I work for has to have "middleware" to translate info from one system to another bacause they all evolved from different proprietary vendors. I've spent the last year wrestling with the contractor they hired to interface with the insurance contractor they hired to pay our claims. Since the company is self-insured, this makes even less sense. They changed vendors last year and dropped all my dependants from coverage. I'd call the "help" number and the person on the other end would tell me that it was all fixed and they'd send me a verification. It came back the same as before. Five calls later we're down to dental coverage for my daughter as the last piece of the puzzle.

On second thought,
