Gang, it's rare that I open a bottle of champagne, but tonight's the night. We have a new moderator here at the pluginsForum, and that moderator is no other than Alecio Costa. Most of you folks already know Alecio from his frequent participation here and on the other forums, so I don't have to tell you that he is terrific guy with a ton of experience both in front and behind the board. He has worked on CDs that have received heavy airplay and prestigious awards in his home country of Brazil. Also, if you ask him nicely, he might tell you where to find the best beaches and nightlife in South America...
So put your click your mouses as hard as you can and give Alecio a warm welcome!

Many thanks guys! I count on your help to keep this place so nice and thank Chris and all the other folks for being my second family!

Every new day is an opportunity to learn and to share the knowledge. WE do need to keep the ball rolling.

I have to thank God for giving me the gift of talent and joy to stick to the dream of music and to my all time friends here, Uncle Kurt, Chris, Rick, David, Opus, Double, Golie, Recorderman, Steve, Michael F., Doug Milton, Bill R. and to the dozen others I can not remember their names now.

A very nice wednesday to you all!
:)

Let me add my congrats as well Alécio!

Where do you guys find all this time? The only time I get log on to RO is when they're editing copy at the sessions here at work (which happens often I must admit). Trying to find the balance between work you have to do, work you want to do, wife, kids, parents, in-laws.... you get the idea. Now if there was only 30 hours a day and 12 days a week...

Many Thanks dear Treena! so.. shall I call ya Aunt Treena? lol I don´t think women will enjoy that much.

Seems I have just given a bonus of 2 years to Uncle Kurt!lol

There is a brazilian joke that says that after 25 you do not have any happy anniversaries, but additional adversaries (enemies)!!lol

A funny thing.. at my short trip to the USA in 1995, folks from samash used to call me ALESIS!! Yes, the same pronunciation at least to them..
So here it goes, how to speel it properly:

A - sounds like "Ah"
Léc - sounds like "Lex" (icon)
Cio - like "Seal"

A few years later comes a dude to sneak at my studio. At that time I had lots of ALESIS gear... He kept staring at them and did not comment anything to me..

The next day my favorite store manager calls me on the phone and comments that the very same guy was at the store complaining about me(!!!):

"wow, that guy Alécio has such a big ego.. I can not understand why did he put hiw own name in every piece of gear!!!"
OH My GOd!!!
