Hi all,

My Alesis RA300 amp isn't functioning correctly. It's out of warranty so I'm free to bring it, or send it, wherever I want. Unfortunately no locals have experience with this amplifier.

I live in WI, I'd prefer to not send it far away. Are any of you from the upper Midwest? If so, do any of you have any recommendations for a reputable electronic technician that has experience repairing studio reference amplifiers, in particular the Alesis RA300 amplifier?

If I have to go out of state, any recommendations? Advice?

Thanks.

It just so happens I have the very same amp and no longer use it, as I have a new pair of powered monitors that I love.
My RA300 functions just fine.
If you'd be willing to eat the shipping, I'll take your broken one for my working one?
My partner might be able to fix it, so we'd maybe still have a working one to sell. (We intended to sell ours)
At least that way, you'd only wait on the ship, and not the repair (and maybe save some $$ on the repair).

Just thought that might be a nice alternative.
