I was checking out the specs on these and noticed that the 3035 seemed to be much flatter overall and specifically in the 1-5k range that seems pretty important for most brass instruments. Anyone have experience with these mics on horns?
I've used a 3035 on tenor in a four piece section, individually mic'd. Nice, even tempered sound. It's also become one of my favorite mics for female vocals, thinking of picking up another one. When I do, I'll certainly try them in stereo pair for horns.
