hi, i would like to configurate a system with dual windows 98. I understand i have to put each system on a separate physical drive which is no problem as I have two drives. how can I do this?
I'd like to be able to choose system when I start the computer and if that's what it'll take I'll use a boot disk.

thanks,
/henrik

Many ways this can be done..
One..is to install Windows98 again on the same partition but create a new folder to install it on..this way it just boots up on the install you want..
Two..Partition your drive and install 98 on each partition
Three..get Partition or Boot Magic(which I reccomend you do actually) and let the program help you install it
Four..get swappable IDE drives

Opus, is it possible that with XP's Xtra Particular Xclusive Profitibility functions that the above will no longer be available (X-Possible?). I gather that unless you have an OEM application - OS installed at the factory - that XP is not
Xtra Portable to other machines, maybe not even its own machine. I thought of you the other night while watching a program called Silicon Spin on Tech TV, a satellite channel I really like. Two guys were debating the merits of XP and OS X. Your wisdom would have been a perfect fit. Have we entered the X age or what?

I'm waiting with bated breath for linuXXXX.

Can't we all just get along?

Yes...you can dual install XP..you'll have to contact microsoft to get the second registration code..the code is like the PACE anti piracy code...it tells them it's pretty much the same machine. All these X's are making me think of "X" marks the spot...is there a treasure awaiting us?!!! I too wonder about Linux and all the possibilities of an amazingly stable system...right now I want to record still and not have to learn new tweaks and OS's and compatavilities and so forth...sometimes I get so involved in teching I forget about my creativity levels and cant get focused on recording!!! That's why I love having my friends over to record!! Anyways...late night watching my roomate play Devil May Cry on the Playstation2...man..what fucking graphics..what a story!!! I've never been so enthralled into watching someone play a video game before!! lol
Must get coffee!!!
