This would be one of the most bizarre instruments I have ever seen.

The Euphone is a rare instrument made in France based on a cristal baschet with a very ethereal sound.

Thanks for posting this, Sean.

Coles, Royers, vintage Neumann 47's, KM84 and Schoeps SD's ?? ... This guy has some pretty serious coin tied up in this project - counting the cost of just the mics alone... and I would think that the instrument itself would require the monetary equivalent of a lung and a kidney to have fabricated - especially since it is handcrafted - and that titanium was used in this particular model.

Based on all of that, while he didn't mention it, one would assume that he is also using top notch pre's and conversion as well.

This is no "cheap" sampling project by any means. ;)
