Hi guys, i just join and i need some tips on my setup i have below:

House speaker: 2 JBL AM6315/64
Monitors : 2 JBL AC2212/64 and 2 JBL JRX 112M
Mixer : Yamaha 01v96 version 2
Crossover : dbx Driverack PA
Amplifiers : 2 QSC CX 404
Microphones : 3 Shure sm58 and 2 Shure SLX SM58

I am using one of the qsc amp to push my bass, i bridge it to get 900w although the speaker wanted 1000w. Well i did not order these stuff, some dude from somewhere got them to this place and they pick me to do the job. And in my country, i am the only dude that have a digital board with my.

Yea man, well thats about it, one hell of a setup, espicially that Yamaha, wooow, thats the real deal with its warm compressors and dynamic eq.

I want to know if i should add more special things things to it, like better amplifiers, can someone recommend some for me? And some other things for me, please. The setup i have is for a small theatre which holds aproximately, 500 people.

The stage size is 60 by 60 feet. Kinda a small stage.

And one other question, well my brother is the lights man for me, This is his setup:

Lighting board- ETC Express 24/48
Lights - ETC Source Four 750

Can i use my midi out from my Yamaha to jack into his midi in to control the lights?

What, and do your brother out of a job? No, I would keep them separate from the point of view of base level control.

However, if the ETC Express 24/48 can be set up to cue on receipt of user-defined short MIDI sequences, you could program the User Keys on the 01V96 to output messages to the ETC via MIDI. These could initiate a sequence change, but not control what that change was or incorporate any dynamics.
