Anyone else into Kaleidoscope?
For those of you not familiar with it, Kaleidoscope allows you to change the entire appearance of your Mac. Once you download it, you can go into the site and select from hundreds of themes to download, which other users have created, or you can create your own. Some of the people who create these themes are VERY talented and creative, and often have more themes on their personal sites than they've listed on the Kaleidoscope site. I found a purple and gold Jimi Hendrix theme on a particular site that is absolutely AWESOME...and a proper tribute to the Master of the Stratocaster.
If you are using Kaleidoscope, please post the names of your favorite themes. If you are creating Kaleidoscope themes and wish to share them, please post your link. If you have any questions, please ask...

I kinda find it hard to believe that nobody here uses Kaleidoscope. There is a similar program for PC called WindowBlinds, but it's not quite as kewl.
I really like having my puter look kewl. When I have people over, they always dig how my system looks. I change the whole appearance of my system every few days. I have lots of Kaleidoscope themes, wallpapers, icons, and fonts.
For a long time, I've been interested in fractal imaging. This is a process by which mathematical formulas are translated into visual abstract art. These images make awesome puter wallpaper. After admiring this form of art for several years, I've decided to learn how to do it.
I've downloaded several different fractal-generating programs ... MacFracTint, Fractal Domains, Fractal Studio, and Aros Fractals. I also have Bryce, Poser, and Paint5. I'm just getting started, and the learning curve is obviously similar to learning to use a DAW ... aaarrrggghhh!
If anyone here has any experience in this area and would like to give me any good pointers to help get me started, please feel free...

Hey SOS...I don't think anyone is using Kaleidoscope because nobody uses a Mac!!! (j/k) :)

I always thought it would be a good idea to switch to a Mac so that if something broke and I needed parts late at night, I could just go to my local Toys-R-Us store to pick up a replacement!!! HAHA!!! Just ribbin' you man!! Actually, Macs really have ruled the media scene for a long time, and PCs have been trying to play catch-up forever. I just like getting the PC vs. Mac wars going!!! ;)
